The Shadow Walkers will not be attending the second weekend of esco, but instead we will be attending the first weekend. I know it works out a lot better for me, I hope it does for the other members of my guild as well. For those that will be there, see you in Esco!

The past two weekends have been full of excitement with Ojai Pirate Faire. I am completely wiped out, but I had a blast. My favorite part of being a rennie is getting to meet awesome new people at every faire. It doesn't matter that you don't know most of the people you meet, you're all family because you share a love of what you do. I have not walked up to a pavi or incampment where I was not welcome with a drink and a hug (or more).

Pirate faire was a little different from SLO faire, not as many rules and we gigged with other groups a lot more. I attended Privie council yesterday to stir suspicion of treason by Captain Munsen. I was scared to death, but it was still a ton of fun to have a crowd interested in what you are doing. It's funny to think that I was so nervouse that I wouldn't be able to do this, that I would choke just speaking to mundanes and now I've gigged with the queen. I finally found something that I'm good at and feel completely at home doing.

**EDIT** I forgot to mention that I was the only doxie at the faire both weekends, by the time we left it felt like just about every one there knew who I was. That was pretty cool too.

I am so torn about Escondido because we are doing the second weekend and would have to leave on halloween. This is an issue because I have a little boy to take trick or treating. I really want to be there too though. I will figure something out I'm sure
